Video: A Dagestani Resident Reports Finding Dolls Instead of Bodies During His Sons' Funeral

A Dagestani resident has reported that during the funeral of his sons, he found dolls instead of their bodies. Local police, the governor, and the Ministry of Health have begun investigations regarding the incident. A video of the incident was released on February 10 on the official Instagram page of the Dagestan Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In the video, a man explains that he brought the bodies of his sons from Stavropol to Dagestan: 'I unwrapped the shroud, and here is what I saw. They are dolls, real dolls,' he says. According to official data, the children were born a week ago at the Stavropol City Maternity Hospital. On the 10th, their father contacted the police, indicating that the children had died.

Police are working to clarify the details, while the governor of the Stavropol region, Vladimir Vladimirov, insists that the regional maternity hospitals had been checked by police and investigators, but no records were found regarding any patient with the stated surname. 'In the case of death, the body is not handed over to relatives by the medical institution, but by the pathological and anatomical services after the appropriate examination. All of this is very strange. I personally understand the situation,' the governor added.

The regional Ministry of Health has also confirmed that the mentioned patient has not been admitted to any hospital or maternity facility in Stavropol either this year or last year. It is noted that the hospital operates transparently, with movement recorded by nearly two hundred cameras.
