I Have Raised You for 28 Years, For People Like You, Nikol: Mother of the Missing
This child constantly reassures me that my grandpa will come after one cry from my grandma. This was stated today, on February 11, by the mother of a missing person during a conversation with reporters in front of the Government, who had come with her young grandchild to raise her voice in protest.
“God knows what suffering I am going through; I have raised this little boy for 28 years, Nikol, for people like you? Today, who will stand up and bring our children? We are standing next to them,” she said.
The mother of the missing person noted that the last time she spoke to her son was on October 20, and she has had no news from him since then. “Not once did they knock on the door and say that they took your child and lost him, that they took him unarmed and handed him over in the occupied territory. The children fought so hard with their rifles that in the end, they went into the forests, and no one followed them. Without reconnaissance, you take 3 buses and hand them over to the enemy, so that the enemy says, ‘Guys, come, we are Armenian too,’” the woman recounted angrily.
