Today, on February 11, the National Assembly continues its regular session. During the discussion of the draft law amending the Civil Code, LHK faction MP Ani Samsonyan asked the author of the draft, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonian, the following question: "Mr. Simonian, are you honest in your objectives to combat defamation and insult?" In response, Alen Simonian stated that he is always honest: "Even if I really wanted not to be honest, you wouldn’t give me that opportunity."
