No Need for Actions to Induce Any Measures Regarding Prisoners, They are in Our Minds and Hearts - Prime Minister
During a Q&A session between the National Assembly and the Government, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the issue of the return of prisoners. He noted that there is dissatisfaction regarding this process not only in the Shirak region but also within the Government; no one is pleased with the current situation.
“There is no need to remind us or me about the issue of prisoners because we do not forget about this problem for a moment. There is no need for any actions to induce measures regarding this issue; those actions are in our heads, our minds, and our hearts. This is a phenomenon where we should be guided by the medical principle of ‘do no harm,’” Pashinyan emphasized, adding that during this time, there have been activities considered beneficial, but, on the contrary, they have harmed the process.
The Prime Minister highlighted that our Russian partners are very actively involved in the process. “Yes, we are not satisfied with the results we have at the moment, but this does not mean that we will stop or should stop working in this direction at any moment. And I am convinced that the less publicity there is regarding this work, the better,” he concluded.
