My Step Member Vahagn Tevosyan Will Resign His Mandate
According to the Armenian Times, Vahagn Tevosyan, a member of the My Step faction, has announced his intention to resign from his mandate shortly.
Tevosyan confirmed the news, emphasizing that he plans to participate in the competition for a vacant position on the Public Television Council, which was announced three days ago. “If I win, yes, I will be forced to resign my mandate,” the MP stated.
It should be noted that the results of this competition will be summarized on February 26. When we inquired if he intends to replace Ara Shirinyan, the chairman of the Armenian Public Television and Radio Company, Tevosyan replied that he does not see the necessity for that. “I am going to that commission as a council member and plan to work with Mr. Shirinyan. What the council decides afterwards will be shown over time,” he emphasized.
