Media Outlets Must Obtain NSS Approval to Cover Syunik's Border Areas

The border troops of the National Security Service of Armenia inform that media outlets must henceforth obtain the approval of the national security authorities to cover various topics in the border areas of Syunik.

“For the information of representatives of mass media, due to the created operational circumstances and security considerations, as well as based on the circumstances of conducting border operations in the relevant areas of Syunik Province, it is necessary to obtain the approval of the national security authorities to cover various topics in these areas. For this, a written request (including an electronic version) should be submitted to the NSS of Armenia in advance,” the released statement says.
