Mass Slaughter of Trees at the Erebuni Museum Area Used as a Restroom
The Mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Marutyan, frequently claims that the city authorities are taking steps to develop tourism, not only in Armenia but also in the capital city.
It is no secret that when tourists visit Armenia, many also stop by the Erebuni Museum. However, visitors have been witnessing unsanitary conditions in the area surrounding the museum. There have even been instances where tourists have seen people fulfilling their natural needs within the museum premises.
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, days ago, an unknown individual or individuals carried out a mass slaughter of trees in the area of the Erebuni Historical and Archaeological Reserve-Museum and the Erebuni Fortress. As reported from the scene by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the vandals cut down around 15 trees, which were between 3 to 7 years old.
