18 Residents of Sisian Declared Missing, One Captured: 'Factinfo'

As a result of the war that began on September 27, 65 servicemen from Sisian have died. The community administration informed 'Factinfo' that 18 participants from the war are still considered missing, including volunteers, conscripts, military personnel, and contract servicemen. Additionally, one resident of Sisian is reportedly being held in Azerbaijan. 'We have one captured individual recorded on our end, but not confirmed by the enemy,' they stated.

The information was independently gathered from Sisian, mainly provided by the villages in the community. The administration also reported that there are over a hundred injured after the war; however, the figures are not final as many residents have gone to the front line from Yerevan.

It is worth noting that as of February 8, the Armenian side reported the names of 2,180 deceased individuals. According to data released by the Artsakh Ministry of Emergency Situations, as of February 8, 1,367 bodies have been retrieved from the war zone, while the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 2,392 individuals have approached the Russian peacekeepers regarding missing persons.

The Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Defense has refrained from publishing complete data on casualties, missing persons, and captured citizens of Armenia.
