Winter Draft Kicks Off in Gegharkunik Province

On February 9, the first group of conscripts from Gegharkunik Province set off to join the Armenian army from the yard of the local military recruitment office.

According to the recruitment department of the Gegharkunik Provincial Administration, all preparations for the winter draft in the province have gone smoothly.

At the farewell ceremony for the new recruits, organized under the instruction of Gegharkunik Governor Genady Sanosyan, representatives from the provincial administration also took part.

Henrik Muradyan, the Deputy Governor of Gegharkunik, congratulated the recruits and their parents, wishing the future soldiers of the Armenian army a peaceful service and a safe return.
