Minister of Health Visits Wounded Soldier at Armenia Medical Center
The Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, alongside Deputy Minister Artyom Smbatyan, made a working visit to the Armenia Medical Center, where they familiarized themselves with the conditions and capabilities of the multidisciplinary healthcare institution and the recent changes implemented.
During the visit, the minister was presented with the development programs of the medical center, which include the acquisition of new equipment and the renovation of departments. The aim is to increase the capacity of the officially 24-bed intensive care unit to 50 and to expand outpatient services.
Representatives from the sector toured the intensive care unit of the center. The minister emphasized the importance of the parallel development of multidisciplinary hospitals and expressed hope that all planned programs will be realized at the Armenia Medical Center.
At the end of the visit, Anahit Avanesyan spoke with a soldier who was injured during the Artsakh war, wishing him a speedy recovery.
