Major Car Accident in Shirak Province: Vehicle Rolls Several Times and Ends Up in a Field
Today, on February 9, a major car accident occurred in Shirak Province. Around 15:20, an Opel vehicle, under still unknown circumstances, veered off the road in the administrative area of Lanjik village on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, rolling several times before landing in a field.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, two people were taken to the Gyumri Medical Center with injuries. Quick response teams from the second squadron of the second company of the Road Police, led by squad commander Vache Malakyan and platoon commander Petros Petrosyan, arrived at the scene.
Senior investigators Nairi Petrosyan and Davit Asatryan from the same squadron also arrived at the site. N. Petrosyan is preparing materials regarding the incident. The police are working to identify the driver and the injured parties.
