Sukiasyan Has No Connection to Diamond Industry, Spokesperson on Circulating Rumors
Dear colleagues, a false news item has just been spread from an unknown source, which is also being reproduced on certain websites. We officially declare that Khachatur Sukiasyan has no connection to the diamond industry, no factory belongs to the Sukiasyan family, and the circulating information is clearly false. These claims aim to tarnish the Sukiasyan family's good reputation. This was announced by Khachatur Sukiasyan's press spokesperson Anna Mkrtchyan.
“We find it necessary to note that all those who avoid paying taxes and deceive the state are unacceptable to the Sukiasyans. It is also unacceptable for us to spread deliberately false and fabricated news under the guise of freedom of speech,” she wrote.
It should be reminded that rumors circulated on the internet about an incident that occurred on January 29, 2021, when the National Security Service detained the head of the Licensing and Permits Department of the Ministry of Economy on charges of assisting in concealing taxes for a company that illegally imported diamonds. The smuggled diamond importing company is 'ADM Diamonds,' whose real owner is Khachatur Sukiasyan, a close oligarch of Nikol Pashinyan. This is the reason that the name of the company was not even mentioned in the NSS statement; the only target has become the official of the ministry.
