Man Attempted to Set Fire to Citizen's House out of Jealousy
On January 29, a man who filed a report with the Bazum police stated that his house had been the target of an arson attempt during the night. The man reported hearing an explosion from the basement. He immediately went down and saw that the basement was on fire.
As a result of extensive operational-investigative measures undertaken by the criminal investigators of the Gugark police to uncover the circumstances of the incident, the identity of the perpetrator was established. A resident of Bazum village was located and taken into custody on suspicion of intentionally destroying someone else's property.
It was found that the man, driven by jealousy, attempted to set fire to a citizen's house by throwing a 1.5-liter bottle of gasoline into the basement of the house. Expert examinations have been appointed, and the investigation is ongoing.
