Among those brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the homeland is future doctor Avetis Puluzian. Our contemporary hero was born on October 15, 2000, in Stepanakert. After graduating from Khachatur Abovyan School in Stepanakert, he continued his studies at the Tamara Kamalyan College, specializing as a 'Medic in the Armed Forces'.

Upon returning to Artsakh, he continued his military service as a first aid instructor, receiving the rank of junior sergeant. Friends describe him as an honest and cultured individual. "We studied together for only one semester, but during that time he managed to impress us as an educated, intelligent, and interesting personality," recalls his classmate Marine Hakobyan, adding that Avetis spared no effort in providing medical assistance to his comrades.
Avetis was on duty from September 27, 2020. From October 2 to 9, he took part in fierce battles in the southeastern front of Artsakh, near Mount Ara, and later in the vicinity of Hadrut.
