Five Vehicles Collide on Saralanj Street; One Driver Hospitalized
The National Crisis Management Center received a call on February 8 at 16:46 reporting that a traffic accident occurred at the beginning of Saralanj Street in Yerevan, where vehicles collided and a trapped victim was noted.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations' Information and Public Relations Department reported that a rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center was dispatched to the scene.
It was discovered that at the beginning of Saralanj Street, on a small bridge, the following vehicles were involved in the accident: a Lexus GX460 (driver: K. B., born in 1995), a Toyota Prius (driver: A. A., born in 1978), a KIA (driver: G. H., born in 1954), a Mercedes-Benz (driver: M. N., born in 1964), and a Ford Transit (driver: E. S., born in 1978).
Emergency medical personnel provided appropriate medical assistance to G. H. at the scene, and no hospitalization was required. Rescuers extracted K. B. from the vehicle and transferred him to the ambulance, where he was hospitalized at the Heratsi Medical Center.
