First Meeting of Subgroups Established by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia Held

On January 30, the first meeting of the expert subgroups created as a result of the meeting between Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, and Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev took place in Moscow. This was announced by Mher Grigoryan's assistant Ani Babayan in a conversation with 24News.

She mentioned that one of the subgroup leaders is the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Development, while the other is the Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee. “There are two subgroups; one deals with issues related to railway, road, and combined transport, while the other focuses on transport security, including border, customs, sanitary, veterinary, phytosanitary, and other types of oversight,” she stated.

It should be recalled that the meeting in Moscow on January 30 was held in line with the implementation of the ninth point of the November 9, 2020 statement aimed at unblocking all economic and transportation links in the region.
