Developing a Model for Search and Rescue Operations Using Drones
Drones can operate with high efficiency not only in search and rescue operations after disasters but also in assisting lost expeditions and tourists.
Experts from the Crisis Management State Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have initiated research on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in search and rescue operations. Field tests were conducted from February 4 to 8 in the surrounding areas of Stepanavan in the Lori region.
Based on the relevant studies and practical work, a model for using drones in search and rescue operations will be developed, which could be useful and applicable for rescuers.
