Murder at the ‘Apricot Garden’ Restaurant in Arinj Village: Celebration Turns into Brawl, 1 Dead, 1 Injured
On February 6, a murder occurred in the Kotayk region. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, around 11:00 PM, the Kotayk Police received a report of a brawl taking place at the ‘Apricot Garden’ restaurant complex in Arinj village.
Shortly after, the police received another report from the number 1 university hospital that their medical staff had transported the body of a young man with multiple stab wounds, diagnosed with biological death.
As reported by the website, police and investigators determined that the deceased was 23-year-old Tatul Martirosyan, a resident of Hrazdan. The other individual who sustained injuries was identified as 22-year-old Sahak Karapetyan, also from Hrazdan.
According to G. Shamshyan, police and investigators have uncovered certain circumstances of the incident, know the identity of the perpetrator, and are undertaking the necessary operational-investigative and joint actions to locate the suspect and the weapon used in the crime, a knife.
