Former Boxer Leon Spinks, Who Defeated Muhammad Ali, Dies at 67
Former professional boxer Leon Spinks has died at the age of 67. He gained fame after defeating Muhammad Ali and stripping him of the championship title, CNN reports.
According to the news channel, Spinks had been battling cancer for the past five years.
The famous bout between 24-year-old Spinks and 36-year-old Ali took place on February 15, 1978.
