Levon Ter-Petrosyan Meets with US Ambassador in His Private Residence

The first president, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, met with the United States Ambassador to Armenia, Lynne Tracy, at his private residence on February 5. Arman Musinyan, Ter-Petrosyan's spokesperson, shared details on his Facebook page.

During the conversation, which lasted more than an hour, various issues concerning the situation in Armenia and Artsakh were discussed. Both sides emphasized the importance of humanitarian assistance currently being provided and expected from the international community, particularly from the USA.

Immediate concerns discussed included the urgent return of prisoners of war, as well as ensuring social support for the population of Artsakh and Armenia, the families of those killed in the war, the wounded, and the disabled.

Participating in the meeting were Kimberley Zapf, the deputy head of the Political and Economic Section of the Embassy, and Levon Zurabyan, Vice President of the Armenian National Congress.
