If We Act Correctly, We Will Again Have Those Achievements We Once Had: Hasratyan
“Believe me, if we act correctly, we will again have those achievements we once had... And this will not be through war, as the propagandists of the current authorities instill fear in the people, but through intelligent and realistically calculated dignified politics,” wrote former spokesperson of the Defense Army, Senor Hasratyan, on his Facebook page.
“To restore the once slow but stable progress of the two Armenian states created in the late 20th century but now eroded, it is essential to have leaders endowed with adequate and national ideas. It is also required that, according to the assessment of the intellectual layer of society, the mentioned leaders have indisputable experience in state-building and, which is critically important in our situation, the mental and willpower qualities to rebuild the country’s defense system in line with the created geopolitical conditions. To achieve this, the number one priority is to eliminate the artificially introduced divisive ‘criteria’ of ‘the former’ and ‘the current’, ‘the blacks’ and ‘the whites’ in state and military governance systems.
All those citizens who are already internally convinced of the nation-destructive policies of today’s authorities, yet are skeptical about the supposed lack of alternatives, are merely falling into self-deception, leading their identity to destruction. We possess that potential among both the elder generation and the young generation distinguished by their dedication to the Homeland. We simply need to free ourselves from the shackles created by the fake ‘global citizens’ who have been misled by foreign influences for years and the propagandists begging for peace at the expense of their own country, and look forward... Believe me, if we act correctly, we will again have those achievements we once had... And this will not be through war, as the propagandists of the current authorities instill fear in the people, but through intelligent and realistically calculated dignified politics,” Hasratyan wrote.
