Health Minister Visits 'Astghik' Medical Center, Talks to Injured Soldiers

The Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan and Deputy Minister Artyom Simonyan have paid a working visit to the 'Astghik' medical center, where they familiarized themselves with the institution's conditions, available resources, and recent reforms.

Accompanied by the center's Director Asatur Asatryan, the minister toured the intensive care unit and the departments where soldiers wounded in the Artsakh war are receiving treatment. Anahit Avanesyan spoke with the soldiers, inquiring about the progress of their treatment and wishing them a swift recovery.

The officials also visited a designated ward for the implementation of the acute stroke treatment program and met with the team at 'Astghik' medical center. It is noteworthy that since February 1, the center has been part of a state program.

During the tour, the minister and deputy minister also reviewed the work accomplished over the past year. Asatur Asatryan presented the center's upcoming development plans and future initiatives.
