Another Charge Filed Against Alexei Navalny

Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny has been charged with defamation, as reported by euronews. He referred to the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Ignat Artemenko, and those who supported the amendments to the Russian Constitution as unprincipled individuals and traitors.

The political figure faces a fine of up to 1 million rubles, compulsory labor, or imprisonment for a maximum of two years.

Navalny has been moved from preliminary custody to court after the actual replacement of the conditional sentence in the Iv Roshi case.
