Draft Does Not Concern Protection of Information Sources, MP Says About New Bill

MP Arthur Hovhannisyan from the ‘My Step’ faction has stated on his Facebook page: “We continue to discuss the draft amendments to the law on ‘Mass Media’. It is important to note that the draft does not concern the protection of information sources, does not relate to the freedom of disseminating information, and does not pertain to the protection of copyright. I do not understand why these theses are circulating as criticism when the draft is about something entirely different.”
