Detained 4 Individuals Have Opportunity to Contact Relatives: Zara Amatuni

Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross visited four detained Armenians in Azerbaijan, including civilians, Zara Amatuni, the head of the organization's communication and prevention programs in Armenia, told Azatutyun.

“On February 1 and 2, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross visited four Armenian individuals, both civilians and military personnel, who are being held in Azerbaijan as a result of the latest escalation. During the visits, we provided the individuals with the opportunity to contact their relatives,” Amatuni said, adding that the committee's representatives became acquainted with the conditions of the detainees' confinement and learned about their health status.
