The Decision to Arrest 'Patron Davoy' to be Appealed in Court

The decision to arrest Davit Galstyan, known as 'Patron Davoy' and a former adviser to the former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan, will be challenged in the Court of Appeals. This was reported to 'Factinfo' by lawyer Armen Harutyunyan.

Earlier, the National Security Service (NSS) had brought charges against Davit Galstyan and applied to the court for his arrest. He is charged with embezzlement of a large amount and is involved in four criminal cases. Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan of the Yerevan City Court of General Jurisdiction approved the NSS's request for Davit Galstyan's arrest on February 2.

The criminal case concerns abuses related to the supply of weapons to the Ministry of Defense.
