Ministry of Defense on Border Situation

On February 1 and 2, the operational situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remained stable, with no border incidents reported. This information was shared by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

“According to information received from the NSS of Armenia, no incidents have been recorded in the section of the Goris-Kapan interstate highway from Vorotan to David Bek, which is under the jurisdiction of the border troops of the NSS,” the statement reads.

“Units of the Armed Forces of Armenia and the NSS border troops are monitoring the border situation throughout the border zone and are accomplishing their assigned tasks,” the statement continued.
