Court Allows Robert Kocharyan to Leave Armenia
The Court of General Jurisdiction of Armenia, presided by judge Anna Danibekyan, has allowed the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, to leave the country from February 3 to 8. This was announced today during a court session by the prosecutor of the case, Gevorg Baghdasaryan, who cited a letter received from the police.
“Based on this, a request was made to the police to temporarily lift the restrictions imposed on Robert Kocharyan, and then to reinstate them,” said the prosecutor. He also informed that they have not received any clarification from the court regarding why Kocharyan is leaving the republic and why during this specific period.
