Azerbaijani Delegation in PACE Attempted to Position Itself as More Constructive, but Failed: MP
The Azerbaijani delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) attempted to position itself as more constructive, but their efforts have failed, stated Tat CVIHAIRAPETIAN, a member of the Armenian delegation in PACE and an MP from the My Step alliance, during a press conference.
According to the MP, they tried to create the impression that they came for dialogue, which the Armenian side is not responding to. “In the meeting rooms and during the committee sessions, they behaved differently. They were aggressive during the committee session, for instance, when I raised the issue of prisoners in the migration and refugee committee, they responded that these prisoners are terrorists. This behavior surprised everyone because it is clear that it is a humanitarian issue that needs to be resolved,” noted Hairapetian.
