There Are Criminal Cases Against 'Patron Davo', We Should Be Happy. Andranik Kocharyan
The presence of the new leadership of the Ministry of Defense has allowed the identification of issues related to defense sector supplies. Today, during a brief conversation with reporters in the National Assembly, Andranik Kocharyan, the chairman of the Permanent Commission on Defense and Security Issues of the Republic of Armenia, commented on the criminal case initiated against 'Patron Davo' (David Galstyan) at the NSS.
“If there have not been any criminal cases against 'Patron Davo' for years, then the question arises as to why there haven't been. However, now there are numerous cases against him, and we should be happy that at least we are expecting answers from these criminal cases,” said Kocharyan.
In the corridor of the National Assembly, Suren Sahakyan, the Deputy Minister of Defense, who accompanied Kocharyan and walked with him towards the commission chairperson's office, also noted that the circumstances regarding the case are the result of a long process. “The investigation is being conducted by the NSS. Based on requests from lawyers, we will provide all information openly,” he said.
