Over 10,000 People Gather for Funeral in Israel, Ignoring Quarantine

In Israel, more than 10,000 Orthodox Jews gathered for a funeral, violating quarantine regulations. The country is still under restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic. This was reported by The Times of Israel, noting that the police have taken no action.

The gathering was in memory of Rabbi Soloveitchik, who passed away at the age of 99 from complications related to the coronavirus. Estimates suggest that between 4,000 to 20,000 individuals attended to pay their last respects.

It is worth mentioning that under current restrictions in Israel, gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited.
