As of January 31, 1345 Remains Discovered: Artsakh Emergency Situations Service

From January 24 to January 31, 2021, the Crisis Management Center of the Artsakh Emergency Situations Service received 1070 calls. The number of calls increased by 175 compared to the previous week. In contrast, there was a decrease in road traffic incidents and fire cases.

Due to heavy snowfall in Artsakh, the service received 3 calls related to road traffic accidents. One citizen was injured as a result of these incidents. The rapid response special unit's operational team provided first aid to the injured. The vehicle involved in the accident rolled into a gorge, from which rescuers successfully carried out operations at a depth of 15 meters.

During the past week, 7 fire incidents were recorded, among which one occurred in a residential building, while the others were in social and utility buildings and open areas. Fire-fighting units successfully performed firefighting operations on time, with no casualties reported from the fires.

The process of discovering, neutralizing, and storing weapons and ammunition continues. The service received 35 calls related to the discovery of various types of military ordnance over the last 7 days.
