Mayor Hayk Marutyan Warns Businesses to Clean Surrounding Sidewalks or Face Fines

Mayor Hayk Marutyan visited several businesses in the Kentron district of Yerevan yesterday and personally warned them to clean the sidewalks adjacent to their buildings, or they would face fines.

The mayor emphasized that Yerevan could only remain clean if all parties fulfilled their obligations. “We must understand that Yerevan can be clean and we can see it clean only if everyone does their part. The municipal authority cleans the streets and its sidewalk areas, while businesses and, most importantly, housing cooperatives take care of the areas surrounding their buildings,” said Hayk Marutyan.
