Europe Thoughtlessly and Unjustifiably 'Throws Away' the Potential for Relations with Russia: Dmitry Peskov

Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, stated during a broadcast of the 'Moscow: Kremlin: Putin' program on Rossiya-1 television that the Kremlin regrets Europe is thoughtlessly and unjustifiably 'throwing away' its potential for relations with Russia. Current challenges dictate the necessity of developing dialogue, TASS reports.

According to the Kremlin representative, EU countries have 'completely thoughtlessly and unjustifiably thrown away' the potential for relations with Russia. Peskov believes that the enormous number of challenges facing states today 'necessitates the development of that dialogue.'

'However, every day we hear the statements that we hear. And we do not like it,' he concluded.
