Vagharshak Harutyunyan Meets with Russian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Representative

On January 29, Armenian Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan met with the head of the Russian delegation, General-Colonel Sergey Istrakov, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who is in Armenia to participate in staff negotiations on Armenian-Russian bilateral military cooperation.

The Deputy Chief of the Russian Armed Forces' General Staff informed the Armenian Minister of Defense about the summarized results of the staff negotiations and the future joint programs. An agreement was reached on the continuation of discussions on bilateral cooperation, as well as on the implementation of upcoming planned activities according to the outlined directions.
