Moskvitsh Crashes into Gas Pipeline, BMW into Basalt Retaining Wall; Several Injured
On January 28, a major car accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 3:00 PM, two vehicles collided near a gas station in the administrative area of Aragatsavan village on the Armavir-Gyumri highway. The incident involved a BMW driven by 41-year-old Hrayr Avetisyan and a Moskvitch driven by 40-year-old Mnatsakan Kocharyan, as reported by shamshyan.com.
As a result of the accident, the Moskvitch veered off the roadway and collided with a gas pipeline, while the BMW also left the roadway and crashed into a basalt retaining wall. Hrayr Avetisyan and his passengers, residents of the Ararat region—51-year-old Babken Minasyan, 73-year-old Zvert Minasyan, and 44-year-old Gayane Minasyan—sustained injuries and were transported to the Talin Medical Center.
