We Must Spare No Efforts to Strengthen and Reinforce Our Army, Says Goris Mayor

Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan has sent a congratulatory message in honor of Army Day, stating: “Dear compatriots, January 28 is the Day of the Armenian Army. The Armenian army is the pride of our people. Although our country is going through difficult times, nothing should dampen our collective faith, will, and fighting spirit. The Armenian army is a force that has brought victories and pride to society. Today, the burden of war is once again borne by the Armenian soldier, who courageously fought for the salvation of the homeland, not sparing his own life. The cross of the Armenian soldier is heavy, and his glory is great.

We must spare no efforts to strengthen and reinforce our army’s capabilities. The enemy must feel that they are facing an entire nation transformed into an army. We have no alternative; each Armenian soldier, each of us, must do everything we can, standing alongside our homeland, our army, and our soldier to ensure our country’s peaceful and stable advancement.

What seems impossible to many must become possible. We have no right to leave the work of our homeland-serving heroes unfinished; we must retrieve what has been lost. The most beloved corner of the world is our Homeland, for whose salvation we must continue our just struggle and demand with a state and national mindset, united.
