I can only say one thing: the army is in our hearts, in our souls, and in our essence. The army is our mission, our humility, our heroism. This was stated today, January 28, by His Grace Archbishop Navasar Kchoyan, the vicar of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese, during a conversation with journalists at the Yerablur Pantheon.

"We are beside the army. One could say we are even enlisted in that mission. With love and humility, today and on other significant days, we direct our steps here to demonstrate our unity and entirety," he said.

In response to the observation that on one hand, we talk about unity, while on the other hand, it is seen that for the first time, spiritual authority has arrived separately from political authority at Yerablur, Kchoyan stated, "I will not respond to political questions today. I do not wish to answer any such question because, for me, the anniversary of the army's founding bears great and sacred significance, and I will not step down from this."
