Vahan Badassian Detained by NSS After Statement on Removing Pashinyan with Force

The president of the Artsakh's "United Armenia" party, Vahan Badassian, has been detained by the National Security Service (NSS) regarding his statements made at a memorial site in Yerevan, as reported to Aysor.am by the advisory to the Attorney General, Gor Abrahamyan.

"Badassian has been detained in connection with his statements made at Yerablur," Abrahamyan said. He noted that at this moment he cannot provide further details, stating that he will inform about other legal processes later.

Recall that today at Yerablur, Vahan Badassian declared that Nikol Pashinyan must be removed not only as a symbol of defeat but also as an enemy. He mentioned that, unfortunately, he had supported Nikol Pashinyan for the sake of a change of government. "But he came, betrayed the revolution, bringing forth his agenda; he committed the unforgivable, betrayed us, and from dawn to dusk he is occupied with lies, understanding nothing about state governance; he only knows how to lie and steal," Badassian stated.

In response to the observation that the Prime Minister is not leaving, Badassian reacted, "Then we will remove him, physically, with weapons. Starting today, I will begin organizing; let the NSS come after me."
