Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan has sent a message on the occasion of the Armenian Army Day, stating:

“Dear compatriots, today is the day of the Armenian Army, the cornerstone of the Armenian statehood. It is primarily a day to honor our fallen heroes; we bow our heads before all of them. We are grateful to the officers and soldiers of the Armenian army for their unwavering dedication to the homeland. The Artsakh war necessitated that the significance of the day be devoted to strengthening the Armenian army and ensuring the security of Armenia. Each of us can best do this by performing our work and duties excellently. Only in this way will we stand firmly on our feet and have a strong and modern army, a powerful and secure homeland.”
