Results of This War Cannot Serve as a Basis for Establishing Peace in the Region, Says Armenia's Foreign Ministry

Iranian Foreign Minister Ara Aivazyan stated during a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif that the outcomes of Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh cannot serve as a foundation for establishing sustainable peace in the region.

Aivazyan emphasized that Iran is an important country in the region, and Armenia respects Iran's approaches in building its relations with immediate neighbors. However, he reiterated that only a lasting peace that addresses the interests of all parties, where there are no 'winners and losers' or so-called 'victories or defeats,' can create real guarantees for promoting security, stability, and development in the region.
