Individuals Injured Due to Military Actions to Receive Financial Aid, Says Mane Tandilyan

The Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, and Migration of the Republic of Artsakh, Mane Tandilyan, stated on her Facebook page:

“Dear compatriots, as you know, immediately after the cessation of hostilities, the state has been implementing various social programs to alleviate social issues in the post-war period. Simultaneously, we have heard the various questions and proposals you have raised, ensuring that no social group affected by the war is left outside of state care, and that citizens know the state appreciates and is grateful for their services, which cannot be measured.

This initiative aims to identify those individuals, excluding discrimination, who have served the homeland unconditionally and have been injured as a result of military actions. While we do not claim to address all the issues faced by these individuals due to the war, we want to assure them that we recognize and greatly value the service of each and every one towards our homeland. Artsakh will live on and remain standing through our collective efforts.

Thus, financial assistance will be provided to individuals who have been injured as a result of military actions and are receiving (or have received) treatment in medical institutions, who do not have (or will not have) a disability of the 1st or 2nd group. Specifically, individuals who were injured as a result of the military actions unleashed by the Republic of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh starting from September 27, 2020, will receive a one-time financial aid of 500,000 drams.

Applications from beneficiaries of this social program will be accepted electronically starting February 6 (it is mandatory to enter data from a passport, social card, or other identity documents). The application deadline is April 15 of the current year. The social assistance funds will be provided exclusively through bank transfer, with the monetary assistance being transferred to the beneficiary’s card account.
