For One Month, Armenian Citizens Can Travel to Russia from 20 Checkpoints
From February 1 to March 1, citizens of the Republic of Armenia will be able to enter the Russian Federation through 20 air communication checkpoints. This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
According to the changes made to the decree of the Government of Russia that temporarily restricts the entry of foreign nationals, from February 1 to March 1, 2021, the entry of citizens of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, including the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, into the Russian Federation will be permitted through the following 20 border checkpoints:
- Anapa (Vityazevo)
- Vladivostok (Knevichi)
- Grozny (Severny)
- Yekaterinburg (Koltsovo)
- Zhukovsky
- Kazan
- Kaliningrad (Khrabrovo)
- Krasnodar (Pashkovsky)
- Krasnoyarsk (Yemelyanovo)
- Moscow (Vnukovo)
- Moscow (Domodedovo)
- Moscow (Sheremetyevo)
- Nizhnekamsk (Begishevo)
- Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo)
- Rostov-on-Don (Platov)
- Samara (Kurumoch)
- Saint Petersburg (Pulkovo)
- Sochi
- Ufa
- Chkalovsky
Travelers are required to present a valid passport as well as a negative COVID-19 test result, which should be reflected in the mobile app “Traveling without COVID-19.” This mobile application is available for users in Armenia and Russia on the Apple Store and Google Play.
