Ayvazyan and Lavrov Discuss Transport and Economic Connectivity

On January 27, a phone conversation took place between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia, Ara Ayvazyan and Sergey Lavrov. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

During the conversation, the progress of the agreements made in the statements of the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan on November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021, was discussed in detail, including matters of security, humanitarian aspects, and the unblocking of economic and transport connections.

In this context, the importance of collaborative constructive work among all countries in the region and aligning their interests was emphasized. The ministers also held discussions on various relevant topics regarding Armenian-Russian relations and the international agenda.
