Video: According to Him, Putin Does Not Own Any Mansion in Gelendzhik. Kremlin Denies

“It’s a lie,” said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of President Vladimir Putin, regarding reports that the president has ties to any property in Gelendzhik. This was reported by an RBC correspondent.

“Any insinuations that President Putin is connected to certain facilities in Gelendzhik are false,” Peskov stated. He emphasized that Putin does not own any mansion in Gelendzhik and does not go there.

When asked to whom the complex belongs, Peskov replied that it “absolutely does not concern him.”

Recall that Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny released a two-hour film about a magnificent palace located on the coast of the Black Sea, which, according to the opposition leader, belongs to President Vladimir Putin and is funded by people from his entourage. The BBC's Russian service noted that many media outlets have previously referred to this complex as Putin's palace.

The centerpiece of the opposition investigation is a palace near Gelendzhik covering an area of 17,600 square meters, which Navalny calls the largest private residence in Russia. In addition to the main palace, the grounds feature an indoor ice palace, a church, a 2,500 square meter greenhouse, an 80-meter bridge, and an amphitheater. Since the palace is located on a steep hillside, a special tunnel was dug to access the sea, as mentioned in the released video.
