Firefighters Extinguish Car Fire Near Gyumri

The Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center received an alert on January 22 at 15:12 regarding a car fire on the road leading from Boulevard Street in Gyumri to the village of Arapi.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, two firefighting units were dispatched from the regional rescue department to the scene.

It was determined that an "Opel Omega" vehicle was on fire. Firefighters managed to contain the fire by 15:26 and fully extinguished it by 15:38. The fire damaged the engine compartment and shattered the windshield.
