President Posthumously Awards Group of Soldiers

The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has signed a decree to award state honors. In accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution and Article 5.3 of the Law on State Awards and Honors of the Republic of Armenia, based on the Prime Minister's recommendation, the following servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia have been posthumously awarded for their contribution to the defense of the homeland, bravery shown during combat operations, and selfless dedication:

• Medal of Courage: Hayk Hamleti Harutyunyan, contract serviceman, junior sergeant, Unit N
• Medal of Courage: Spartak Levoni Zakaryan, conscript soldier, private, Unit N
• Medal of Courage: Tigran Grigori Karapetyan, conscript soldier, private, Unit N
• Medal of Courage: Sevak Gagiki Hambardzumyan, conscript soldier, private, Unit N
• 2nd Degree Medal for Services Rendered to the Fatherland: Mikael Sarkisi Atoyan, deputy commander of the battalion, major, Unit N
• Combat Service Medal: Arthur Rashidi Amiraghyan, contract serviceman, sergeant, Unit N
• Combat Service Medal: Samvel Artaki Melkumyan, contract serviceman, junior sergeant, Unit N
• Combat Service Medal: Ashot Artturi Hayrapetyan, contract serviceman, private, Unit N
