9 New Cases of Coronavirus Discovered in Artsakh

On January 20, 56 tests were conducted in Artsakh, resulting in the confirmation of 9 new cases of coronavirus. This information was reported by the Ministry of Health of Artsakh.

"The infected individuals are contacts of previously confirmed clusters, while some were found to have the disease during examinations at healthcare facilities. Specialists from the 'Center for Epidemiology and Hygiene' of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh have carried out disinfection efforts in the confirmed clusters and also sampled contacts of the confirmed cases for testing.

In total, there have been 2,266 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Artsakh, with 31 fatalities. Currently, 33 infected individuals are receiving inpatient treatment, while mild cases are being treated on an outpatient basis at home. A total of 18,751 tests have been conducted," the Ministry of Health detailed, urging the population to follow guidelines to avoid new outbreaks and to overcome the coronavirus infection as soon as possible.
