Russian Peacekeepers Conduct Fire Training Exercises in Artsakh
As part of planned combat readiness training exercises in Artsakh, personnel from the Russian peacekeeping contingent have performed a series of training tasks at the 'Stepanakert' training ground, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
During the fire training exercises, servicemen fired at various types of targets using automatic rifles, machine guns, and sniper rifles. Despite the round-the-clock duty of Russian peacekeepers at observation posts, the command of the Russian peacekeeping force has planned various fundamental types of combat training, including tactical and fire training, as well as operation of combat vehicles and other specialized automotive technology, the agency reports.
The report states that a total of approximately 200 Russian servicemen are involved in the combat readiness training exercises.
