A powerful earthquake has struck Argentina, with a magnitude of 6.8 recorded at the epicenter. This is reported by Reuters news agency.

It is noted that five aftershocks have been registered following the quake, ranging from 3.5 to 5 in magnitude. There is currently no information regarding casualties or injuries.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 40 kilometers south of the San Juan province in Argentina, with a hypocenter recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers. There is no threat of a tsunami.
